Introduction
Intheearlynineteenthcentury,theleadtypeproductiontechnologywasintroducedtoChinafromtheWest.Inthesubsequentdevelopment,theproductionofcoppermoldshaschangedwitheachpassingday,andtheleadtypecastinghasalsoimproved.Anddevelopfrommanualoperationtomechanization.Atfirst,hand-pattedtypecastingfurnaceswereusedforcastingtype.Later,foot-operatedtypecastingfurnacesandhand-operatedtypecastingfurnaceswereused,andthespeedincreasedto700to800charactersperhour.IntheearlyyearsoftheRepublicofChina,theCommercialPressintroducedthe"ThomsonAutomaticCastingFurnace".Notonlyhasmorethan15,000charactersbeencastdaily,butthecastedcharacterscanbeuseddirectlywithoutprocessing.Sofar,thecastingtechnologyhasreachedmaturity.
