The book first cuts into classic works, uses the method of text reading, excavates and refines the core settings, pleasure mechanism, and aesthetic characteristics of this type of text; This work serves as the central clue to sort out the origins, inheritance, transition, and context of this type of essay, as well as its relationship with literary history and other literary resources; on this basis, use the perspective of cultural research to interpret the social culture of this type of essay. The reason is to analyze the collective unconsciousness of the masses and the changes in the national mentality that are aggregated and reflected, and explain its value as the "weather vane of the spirit of the times". At the same time, through the analysis of the process of these works from "popular" to "classic", the direction of "mainstreaming" of online literature and the possibility of participating in the construction of "new mainstream literature" are discussed.
