⑥Formulatespecificguidelines,policies,andimportantrulesandregulationsforminorityeducation,organizethecompilationandpublicationoftextbooksinminoritylanguages,andguide,supervise,andinspectminorityeducation.

3.1FunctionsofLocalEducationAdministrationDepartment
Localeducationadministrationdepartmentreferstotheorganization,leadership,andleadershipofeducationbylocalgovernmentsatalllevelsinacountry.Managedorganizationordepartment.

ThelocaleducationadministrativedepartmentsofthePeople’sRepublicofChinaaredividedintothreelevels:province,cityandcounty.Theleaderorprofessionalguidanceofthehighereducationadministrativedepartment.Accordingtothe"LawofthePeople'sRepublicofChinaontheOrganizationofLocalPeople'sCongressesatVariousLevelsandLocalPeople'sGovernmentsatVariousLevels",theestablishmentoflocaleducationadministrativedepartmentsatalllevelsshallbeestablishedbythepeople'sgovernmentatthesamelevelandreporttothehigher-levelpeople'sgovernmentforapproval.
ThebasictasksandfunctionsofChina’slocaleducationadministrativedepartmentsare:toimplementthecentraleducationguidelines,policies,anddecreesaswellastheeducationworkinstructionsofthehighereducationadministrativedepartments;toberesponsibleforthedevelopmentplanandbasicconstructionofeducationintheregion,Educationfunding,managementofcadresandteachers;leadingtheeducationandteachingworkofvariousschoolsatalllevelsintheregion,andprovidingprofessionalguidancetoschoolsrunbyfactoriesandminingenterprises.
