Successively participated in or undertook 7 national scientific research projects including military industry projects. He has published more than 40 articles domestically, internationally, and co-authored 1 monograph, and won 3 national patents. Undertake the national 973 project "Ordinary carbon steel microstructure formation theory and control technology" and the national 863 project "high-performance carbon steel advanced industrialized manufacturing technology". It has changed the traditional understanding that ordinary carbon steel cannot achieve unrecrystallized controlled rolling. It provides a theoretical and technological basis for the traditional carbon steel materials to achieve high performance through ultra-fine grain controlled rolling. Production experiments and promotion were carried out in Tangshan Iron and Steel, Huaigang, Shougang, and Sanming Steel Plants. For the first time in the world, it was the first time in the world to successfully use ordinary carbon steel Q235 type 200MPa grade I steel to produce ultra-fine grain 400MPa grade III steel bars equivalent to 20MnSiV. The production volume of fine-grained and ultra-fine-grained steel bars of enterprises applying this production process has exceeded 200,000 tons per year. Shougang's use of this technology to produce ultra-fine grained steel bars has been used in key projects such as the Beijing Xizhimen transportation hub. The application of this technical achievement has reduced the cost of producing Class III steel bars by more than 200 yuan/ton. Based on the 6 million tons of my country's Class III steel bars, it can save more than 1 billion yuan in production costs and save a lot of Mn, Si, V, Nb alloy resources.
