第五套人民币10元纸币采用了10项公众防伪措施，具体如下：

1、固定花卉水印：位于正面左侧空白处，迎光透视，可以看到立体感很强的月季花水印。

2、白水印：位于双色横号码下方，迎光透视，可以看到透光性很强的图案“10”水印。

3、红、蓝彩色纤维：在票面上，可以看到纸张中有不规则分布的红色和蓝色纤维。

在1999版和2005版的人民币的区别中，我们可以看出，一、二、四点是工艺增减、改进和更换材质，第三点是版面内容更改，即在纸币背面主景图案下方的面额数字后面，增加人民币单位的汉语拼音“YUAN”，年号改为“2005年”。毛泽东的纽扣由“二”字针法改为“x”针法。如果说仅仅由于对1999年版第五套人民币机读和防伪技术的创新和提高，而在那么短的时间内进行人民币更迭，使人产生是否有必要的疑问，毕竟那样会造成极大的成本浪费。

据笔者分析，因冠号投放完毕而重新发行2005版人民币的理由也不成立，除了修正后的1元券，面值最低的5元券实物发放冠号种类为107种，最少的是50元券为78种，而投放时间最早的100元券的冠号实物达402种。除非意外情况发生，否则没有理由出现低面值券种冠号投放少于高面值券种的现象。排除以上原因，我们从央行发言人答记者问的第三点分析，那么原因就显而易见了，因为第三点是版式设计出现了变动。

1角区别

第五套人民币1角硬币材质由铝合金改为不锈钢，色泽为钢白色。其正背面图案、规格、外形与现行流通的第五套人民币1角硬币相同，背面为兰花图案及中国人民银行的汉语拼音字母“ZHONGGUORENMINYINHANG”，直径为19毫米。

5元区别

（一）、第五套人民币5元纸币的2005年版与1999年版有哪些相同？

2005年版第五套人民币5元纸币规格、主景图案、主色调、“中国人民银行”行名和汉语拼音行名、面额数字、花卉图案、国徽、盲文面额标记、民族文字等票面特征，固定花卉水印、白水印、全息磁性开窗安全线、手工雕刻头像、胶印微缩文字、雕刻凹版印刷、双色横号码等防伪特征，均与现行流通的1999年版的第五套人民币5元纸币相同。

（二）、第五套人民币5元纸币的2005年版与1999年版有哪些区别？

1.调整隐形面额数字观察角度。正面右上方有一装饰性图案，将票面置于与眼睛接近平行的位置，面对光源做上下倾斜晃动，可以看到面额数字“5”字样。

2.增加凹印手感线。正面主景图案右侧，有一组自上而下规则排列的线纹，采用雕刻凹版印刷工艺印制，用手指触摸，凹凸感。

3.取消纸币中的红蓝彩色纤维。

4.背面主景图案下方的面额数字后面，增加了人民币单位元的汉语拼音“YUAN”；年号改为“2005年”。

为了提高第五套人民币的防伪水平，经国务院批准，中国人民银行定于自2005年8月31日起，在全国范围内发行2005年版第五套人民币100元、50元、20元、10元、5元纸币、1角硬币。现公告如下：

一、2005版第五套人民币100元、50元、20元、10元、5元纸币规格、主景图案、主色调、“中国人民银行”行名和汉语拼音行名、面额数字、花卉图案、国徽、盲文面额标记、民族文字等，均与现行流通的1999年版第五套人民币同面额纸币相同。

二、2005版第五套人民币的防伪技术、防伪布局等实现了统一。20元纸币新增加了全息开窗式安全线、阴阳互补对印图案、背面雕刻凹版印刷等技术。

三、2005版第五套人民币100元、50元、20元、10元、5元纸币正面主景图案右侧增加凹印手感线，背面主景图案下方为面额数字和汉语拼音“YUAN”，年号为“2005年”。

100元、50元券调整防伪布局。2005年版第五套人民币100元、50元纸币正面左侧中间处，背面右侧中间处为阴阳互补对印图案；左下角为光变油墨面额数字，其上方为双色异形横号码。

2005版第五套人民币100元、50元、20元纸币正面左下角增加白水印面额数字。另外，在20元纸币正面左下角和背面右下角增加阴阳互补对印图案。

四、第五套人民币1角硬币材质由铝合金改为不锈钢，色泽为钢白色。即正面为“中国人民银行”、“1角”和汉语拼音字母“YIJIAO”及年号背面为兰花图案及中国人民银行的汉语拼音字母“ZHONGGUORENMINYINHANG”，直径为19毫米。

五、在2005版第五套人民币的水印处增加了“防复印图案”。这是一些特殊排列的圆圈，作用是防止纸币被复印或打印。很多彩色复印机、扫描仪、打印机和图像处理软件都有识别此特殊图案的功能，发现带此图案的原稿就会拒绝复印或打印。
