In the early years

Revolutionary struggle

Lu Pelong established a temporary government. In 1868, Baus was overthrew with President Jose Maria Kaflar, and held a president again. Rupelong once again put into the struggle of anti-Pabez, and the blue party overthrew Baus in 1874.
Political career
Ulisse Francisco Espinte served as the president, Rupelong was appointed as the Minister of War and the Minister of Naval. In December 1879, Lu Pron began to serve as President Dominica, during the president, Rupelong's residents made Europe and committed to the development of free economies.
