HarbinSino-Russian IndustrialSchool (tj.HarbinIndustrialPředchůdcenebo.univerzita) byla zřízena v květnu na 19.otevřeníkonstrukce20. .První tři třídy byly přihlášeny celkem 103 studentů. Kreditní systém je zaveden. Školní systém je čtyřletý a všechna výuka probíhá v ruštině.

OnApril2,1922,theschoolwasrenamedtheSino-RussianUniversityofTechnology.Theschoolwaschangedfromfouryearstofiveyears.TheoriginaltwodepartmentswerechangedtotheDepartmentofRailwayArchitectureandtheDepartmentofMechanicalandElectricalEngineering.Graduateswhopassthedefenseoftheexaminationcommitteeareawardedthetitleofengineer.

OnFebruary4,1928,theschool'saffiliationchanged,anditwasledbytheEasternProvinceSpecialEconomicZoneoftheRepublicofChina,andtheschoolnamewaschangedtoEasternProvincialSpecialEconomicZoneUniversityofTechnology.

OnOctober20,1928,theSchoolofLawandPoliticsandtheSchoolofBusinessweremerged,andtheschoolwasofficiallynamedHarbinInstituteofTechnology,underthemanagementoftheSovietUnion.

Na jaře roku 1931 začala nabírat postgraduální studenty.

AsJapaneseimperialisminvadedtheNortheast,theschoolwascompletelytakenoverbytheJapanesein1935,andclassesweretaughtinJapanese,andChineseandJapanesestudentswereappointed.

1. ledna 1936 byla škola přejmenována na National Harbin Higher Industrial School.

AfterJanuary1937,theschoolwascompletelytransferredtothestageofrunningschoolsaccordingtotheJapanesemethod.

Od 1. ledna 1938 byla škola přejmenována na „National Harbin Institute of Technology“. Od té doby je název školy Harbin Institute of Technology již od té doby.

Afterthevictoryofthe"September3"WarofResistancein1945,HarbinInstituteofTechnologywasjointlymanagedbythegovernmentsofChinaandtheSovietUnionandledbytheChinaRailwayAdministration.ThepurposeofrunningtheschoolatthistimewastotrainengineeringandtechnicalpersonnelfortheZhongchangRailway.Theschoolsystemwasfiveyears,andallclassesweretaughtinRussian.BeforethenewChinatookoverin1950,ithadcivilengineering,electricalmachinery,engineeringeconomics,mining,chemicalengineering,andEasterneconomics.DepartmentandFoundationStudies.

Fromtheestablishmentoftheschoolin1920tobeforetheliberation,HarbinInstituteofTechnologyhasbeenrunningschoolsinRussianorJapanesestyleandtaughtinRussianorJapanese.ThishasmadeHarbinInstituteofTechnologyadistinctiveinternationalcharactersinceitsestablishment.

From1920untilthelastgroupofstudentsintheRussianlanguageclassgraduatedattheendof1938,theHarbinInstituteofTechnology,whichisaRussian-styleschool,hastrained1267graduates,including382Chinesestudentsand885SovietandPolishstudents.GraduatesaredistributedinChina,Taiwan,HongKong,theSovietUnion,Australia,Poland,theUnitedStates,Canada,NewZealand,andBrazil.TheygenerallyacceptedtheearlyacademiceducationintheWestandacquiredadvancedscientificandtechnologicalknowledgeinEuropeatthattime.HisdiplomawasrecognizedbytheSovietUnionandotherEuropeancountries.Inthe30yearsbeforetheliberation,HarbinInstituteofTechnologytrainedmanyscholarswhowerewell-knowninthefieldofscienceandtechnologyeducation,andsomebecamesocialactivists.

GoldenAge

In1949,HarbinInstituteofTechnologybegantorecruitgraduatestudentsfromalloverthecountryandwasoneoftheearliestuniversitiesinChinatotraingraduatestudents.

OnJune7,1950,theCentralCommitteeoftheCommunistPartyofChinatelegraphedtheNortheastBureau:"TheZhongchangRailwayhasdecidedtohandovertheHarbinInstituteofTechnologytotheChinesegovernment."HealsoinstructedHarbinInstituteofTechnologyto"focusonrecruitinglecturers,teachingassistants,andgraduatestudentsfromvariousuniversitiesinChina.TheymainlystudyRussianandwillbeassignedtoteachinvariousuniversitiesaftertwoyearsofgraduation."ThisisanimportantsignthatHarbinInstituteofTechnologyhasreturnedtotheembraceofNewChinaandenteredthestageofcomprehensivetransformationandexpansion.Later,theschooldecidedthatJune7wastheanniversaryofthefoundingofHarbinInstituteofTechnology.

In1951,HarbinInstituteofTechnologywasdesignatedbythestateasoneofthetwoinstitutionsforChinesehighereducationtolearnfromtheSovietUnion."Anditiswell-knownthroughoutthecountry.FromJuly1951toJune1956,theschoolheld5teachingmethodsandscienceandtechnologyseminars,andwascommissionedbytheMinistryofHigherEducationtoholdtwonationalelectromechanicalconferences,eachofwhichwasattendedbydozensofbrothercollegesanduniversities.HarbinInstituteofTechnologyhasbecomeawindowforuniversitiesacrossthecountrytolearnfromtheexperienceofSovieteducation.

In1952,thesystemofHarbinInstituteofTechnologywaschangedto5years,andtheengineeringtrainingofstudentswasstrengthened,sothatstudentshavetheabilitytoundertakeengineeringandtechnicaltasksindependently.Itisknownthroughoutthecountryasthe"cradleofengineers".

Fromthe1950stothemid-1960s,undertheleadershipofFengZhongyun,LiChang,ChenKangbai,andhigh-speedrailways,HarbinInstituteofTechnologyenteredthestageofmajorconstruction,majordevelopment,andmajorimprovementonthebasisofreconstructionandexpansion.Thecountryhastrainedtensofthousandsofstudents.

Duringthisperiod,theenrollmentscaleoftheschoolcontinuedtoexpand.Themaximumnumberofstudentsintheschoolreachedmorethan8,000.Theteachingteamgrewrapidly.In1957,ithasgrowntomorethan800people,withanaverageofonly27.5yearsold.Theyhaveundertakenalltheteaching,Thescientificresearchtaskisknownasthe"eighthundredheroes"ofHarbinInstituteofTechnology;thescientificresearchworkhasbeengreatlydevelopedandimproved,andvariousmajorshaveestablishedafixedscientificandtechnologicalcooperationrelationshipwithsomefactoriesandresearchinstitutes.InordertoruntheHarbinInstituteofTechnologywell,afterliberation,agroupofyoungandexperiencedleadersweresenttoHarbinInstituteofTechnologytotakeupleadershippositions;agroupofacademicallyaccomplishedprofessorswererecruitedortransferredtoHarbinInstituteofTechnology;67Sovietexpertsand3CzechexpertssuccessivelyHewashiredtoHarbinInstituteofTechnologytohelptheschoolbuildmajorsurgentlyneededbythecountryandtrainteachersandstudents;abatchofadvancedinstrumentsandequipmentwereshippedbackfromtheSovietUnion,makingHarbinInstituteofTechnology'slaboratoriesandpracticefactoriesoneofthetopinthecountry.

InOctober1954,theMinistryofHigherEducationidentifiedsixuniversitiesasthefirstbatchofnationalkeyuniversities,andHarbinInstituteofTechnologybecametheonlykeyuniversityoutsideBeijing.

In1957,HarbinInstituteofTechnologyhasgrownto7departmentsand23majors,basicallybuildingitintoanewmultidisciplinaryindustrialuniversitythatlearnsfromtheSovietteachingsystem.

In1958,inaccordancewithComradeDengXiaoping’sinstructionof"HarbinInstituteofTechnologytobesophisticated"andtheneedsofthedevelopmentofthesituationatthattime,HarbinInstituteofTechnologymademajoradjustmentstotheprofessionalsettingsandcreatedanumberofcutting-edgemajors,whichwerebasicallycompletedby1962.Thetransitionfromciviliantomilitaryandcivilian,formingacomprehensiveprofessionalsystemwithcomplementarydisciplines,becomingamultidisciplinaryuniversityservingnationaldefensescienceandtechnologyandnationaleconomicconstruction.

In1960,theschoolcooperatedwith107factoriesinHarbininthetechnologicalinnovationandtechnologicalrevolutionmovementtocompletemorethan460mechanizedautomationprojects.

Deset YearsofTurmoil

InAugust1973,theStateCouncilandtheCentralMilitaryCommissiondecidedtoreturnChongqingUniversityofTechnologytothenorthandrestoretheoriginalHarbinInstituteofTechnology.Afterseveraltossings,theschoolwasseverelydamaged.

In2001,thefirstbatchofnationaldemonstrationsoftwareacademieswereapprovedfortrialoperation.

In2002,withtheapprovaloftheMinistryofEducation,theHarbinInstituteofTechnologyShenzhenGraduateSchoolwasestablishedincooperationwiththeShenzhenMunicipalGovernment.Inthesameyear,theWeihaibranchofHarbinInstituteofTechnologywasrenamedHarbinInstituteofTechnology(Weihai).

In2007,itbecameoneofthefirstpilotuniversitiesforthereformofthegraduatetrainingmechanism.Inthesameyear,itbecameoneofthefirsttenuniversitiesintheengineeringeducationreformpracticeprojectjointlyimplementedbytheMinistryofEducationandtheChineseAcademyofEngineering.

V roce 2011 byla škola ministerstvem školství zařazena do „Experimentálního programu pro školení špičkových studentů v základních předmětech“ (dále jen „Projekt Everest“).

In2009,theCentralOrganizationDepartmentandtheMinistryofEducationdesignatedHarbinInstituteofTechnologyasthefirstbatchofuniversitybasesfortheeducationandtrainingofcadresacrossthecountry.

In2010,theMinistryofIndustryInformationTechnology,thePeople'sGovernmentofShandongProvince,andthePeople'sGovernmentofWeihaisignedatripartiteagreementtojointlybuildHarbinInstituteofTechnology(Weihai).Inthesameyear,hewasselectedasoneofthefirstbatchof"OutstandingEngineerEducationandTrainingProgram"universitiesbytheMinistryofEducation.

In2012,thefirstbatchofcollegesanduniversitiesselectedfortheimplementationofthenationalcollegestudentinnovationandentrepreneurshiptrainingprogram.

V dubnu 2013 byla vybrána první várka univerzit jako hlavní univerzity „Plánu 2011“. V květnu byla ministerstvem školství ohodnocena jako národní modelová univerzita pro absolventy.

InApril2014,thecityschoolsignedaschool-runningagreementtojointlybuildHarbinInstituteofTechnology(Shenzhen).InMay,theMinistryofEducationapprovedtheShenzhenGraduateSchoolofHarbinInstituteofTechnologytoprepareforundergraduateeducation;theShenzhenMunicipalGovernmentandHarbinInstituteofTechnologysignedanewcooperativeeducationagreement.Preparingtojointlybuild"HarbinInstituteofTechnology(Shenzhen)"withacompleteundergraduate,master,anddoctoraleducationsystem.

InJanuary2020,itwasselectedasapilotuniversityofthe"StrongBaseProgram";inSeptember,itformallyjoinedthePacificRimUniversityAlliance.InOctober,itwasdesignatedasthe2020NationalIntellectualPropertyDemonstrationUniversitybytheStateIntellectualPropertyOfficeandtheMinistryofEducation.

InDecember2020,itwasselectedastheNationalPublicServiceDemonstrationPlatformforSmallandMedium-sizedEnterprisesin2020.

InMay2021,itbecameoneofthefirstbatchofmembersofthe"NationalHigherMilitary-IndustrialCollegeCurriculumIdeologicalandPoliticalAlliance";itwasapprovedasthefirstbatchofFutureTechnologyCollegesbytheMinistryofEducation.

Koncem roku 2016 má Knihovna technologického institutu Harbin tradiční sbírku 3,4 milionu svazků/kusů, 2,79 milionu knih a 132 databází. 2objevovací systémy,19freeelektronickézdroje,včetněrůznýchznámýchRozsáhlákomplexnídatabáze,úplnátextovádatabázerůznýchautoritativníchpublikacíprofesionálníspolečnosti.Knihovnavytvořilacharakteristickoudatabázizplnotextových.textových papírů ,vícejazyčný, vícenosičský a komplexní systém zdrojů, který je kompatibilní s nastavením školního oddělení. Knihovna (v prvním okrese) se zaměřuje na inženýrství, kombinuje vědu a inženýrství s manažerskými disciplínami, knihovna (v druhém) se zaměřuje především na civilní inženýrství, městské a environmentální inženýrství, dopravní inženýrství a základní disciplíny a architektonická větev se zaměřují na architekturu. Zaměřuje se na předmět urbanistického plánování a každá knihovna má také sbírky humanitních a společenských věd.

哈工大还为中国航天领域输送了超过8000余名毕业生，其中载人航天工程总指挥李继耐、副总指挥胡世祥，绕月探测工程总设计师孙家栋、总指挥栾恩杰，原总装备部副部长李元正，国家航天局局长许达哲，“神舟”六号飞船系统总指挥尚志、神舟六号飞船总设计师张柏楠都是他们中的代表。正如航天员杨利伟在学校演讲时所言：“在我工作的周围有近40%的人是哈工大毕业生。”
